Yesterday's traditional implant surgery typically involved the use of manual caliper measurements of implant site to assure adequate width and placement of the implant. Dr. Marinic's in office Cone Beam Scanner eliminates manual measurements through the use of a CAD/CAM designed drilling guide.

Sirona SICAT Implant Guide: Precision Placement Same Day Implant

Surgery guides by SICAT can be made to fit OVER existing teeth and provide the precision that only a surgical guide can provide. Single implants can now be placed with precision that outstrips what can be accomplished via free hand implant placements.

Our patient's extraction was performed with a proprietary extraction procedure utilizing extraction instruments developed in Germany. Immediate Implant Continued: Temporary Crown Impression and Bonding

Most patients don't like to walk around toothless or partially edentulous after surgery. Watch the process used for creating an impression and temporary resin crown that patients use while awaiting for their final porcelain restorations.

A temporary crown is handled like any other restorative product used in our office. Bite and occlusal factors are always monitored and adjusted for, as necessary, so patients don't experience unusual events from wearing temporaries (pain, sensitivity, gingival bleeding). Marius Titanium Bridgework Testing: Prefitting Calibration

Dr. Marinic conducts a final try-in of the Marius titanium infrastructure components to assure the calibration and fit is 100% and the possibility for unforeseen errors is eliminated. The testing is performed on a stone model representing the patient's upper jaw. Guided implant surgery and advanced catscan data enables the creation of stone models that precisely mirror implant configurations and depths in a real jaw. Marius Bridge: Final Install

This video is a continuation of the preceding video. After testing the calibration, Dr. Marinic installs the Marius Bridge infrastructure elements and attaches the final prosthetic. As can be seen in the video, the use of 3D catscans and CAD/CAM milling of the titanium elements creates a perfect fit into the implant configuration that was originally designed with Virtual Treatment software.
